Dunnhumby India team grows 200% in the past 3.5 years; looks to attract more Indian talent

 “The group’s current focus is growth right across the globe, including in the Indian market, both talent wise and marketwise”, said Guillaume Bacuvier while speaking at dunnhumby Commercial Leadership Forum, which took place in India to commemorate dunnhumby’s 10 years in the country.

At present, dunnhumby’s focus in India is to tap more talent. “50% of dunnhumby’s data science and analysis talent pool comes from India, and we want to grow that even further. Simultaneously, we are looking at commercial opportunities in India”, said Bacuvier.

The leaders at the Commercial Leadership Forum deliberated on new innovative methods and cutting edge technologies to understand customers in an even better way and how they can be leveraged for the group retail clients across the globe. Bacuvier said, “Our India office is helping our global clients in anything from effective pricing, promotion, better range, assortment, to personalised and relevant customer communication plans including advertising.”

While addressing the dunnhumby global leaders, Anthony Kilili, MD, dunnhumby India, said: “dunnhumby India is currently focusing its energies on its technology renewal programme – a multi-year, multi-discipline programme adopting a cloud first, open source approach to our foundational technologies, bringing greater freedom, flexibility and speed to dunnhumby and its clients.”
